Minnesota

We went to Minnesota a couple of weeks ago. We went to Mall of America so that the kids could ride the rides at Nickelodeon Universe. They loved every minute of it...Well almost everything! Emma was terrified of the characters walking around.
We ate at some great places. We also went to Underwater Adventures and Emma had so much fun looking at Sharky's and touching crabs and snails. Brian even got to drive a NASCAR simulator and I rode as a passenger...It was crazy!

Alivia's Birthday Pictures

We went and had Alivia's pictures taken on her actual birthday and had some family ones taken as well. I made a large collage for Alivia's room!










Ok...well I am really bad at this I am so behind. Alivia turned "1" on April 27th and we had a party for her. She was suffering from an ear infection but we didn't know it at the time. She was not her usual happy self at the party she wouldn't let me put her down and walk away and didn't really let too many people hold her. So it was not what I had expected. We were going to have a big backyard BB-Q and get an inflatable bouncy thing, but of course it rained all day and that plan was ruined. All in all it turned out to be a pretty fun party and it was nice to spend time with friends and family!

Alivia is finally walking...holding onto something!

Well Alivia has been able to stand by herself for awhile now, but she just wouldn't take a step well on Friday night she took her first two steps unassisted and she just started walking while pushing something...

Disney on Ice: Mickey and Minnie's Journey

While in Utah we saw the Disney on Ice was going to be in town. So we decided to extend our trip by one day so that we could take the girls. They both had so much fun and were entertained the entire time! Emma was in AWE and that is still all she talks about! We can't wait to take her to Disney World next year!

Our Trip To Utah

Well we decided to take a road trip and drive to Utah to visit my family. The drive was about 13 hours there and 12.5 hours back. The girl were fantastic in the car. I can't believe how well they did for how long they had to sit and keep themselves entertained.
Alivia had a blast with her new block set from IKEA! She also loved Pepper but we are still not getting a dog any time soon. Emma didn't love him at all.



Uncle Dallen taught Emma many new things. He taught he how to play basketball and how to play the piano. She is a pro!


While we were there we celebrated all of the birthdays that had just passed and those that were coming up. We celebrated uncle Dallen's, Emma's birthday, Grandma Shauna's birthday, uncle Chris's Birthday, and Alivia's. It was a lot of fun. Emma even learned to blow out candles.



While we were there Emma had tons of fun and learned how to play the slot machines at Grandpa's house. How fitting since mommy and daddy love to go to the casino and Las Vegas!
