Carter Family Update!

Well I have been awful at keeping this thing updated but I will try to do a better job in the future. Emma Claire turned THREE last month. I can't even believe it. She is for sure three going on thirteen! She loves to dance and is very into make-up...especially lip stick! Her favorite song is "All the Single Ladies" by Beyonce. She is extremely smart too. She knows all of her colors and is doing very well with all of her shapes. She can spell her name and can even right the letters "E and M" She has been going to preschool every Friday morning for a couple hours and she loves it! I am so proud of her! As of her three year doctor visit she has finally started to grow! She was in the 5th percentile for weight and 10th for height. She also has a "boyfriend" now and it is the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz. It is currently her favorite movie. Emma is doing pretty good with potty training. She has her good days and then a bad couple of days but we are making some progress at least.

Our little Alivia Paige will be turning two next month and ohhhh what a handful she is! She has a mind of her own and it not afraid to let you know. She most certainly has started the terrible twos and we are attempting to deal with her tantrums. She is also exceptionally smart..which I think she learns from her sister. She knows her ABC's and all her numbers 1-10. She even wants to go potty on the big girl potty just like her sister. At times I think Alivia may be potty trained first! She LOVES shoes and is always wanting to put new ones on! She is also our little singer. She loves to sing along to almost any nursery rhyme and her favorite is Twinkle Twinkle little star!

As for Brian and I we think that it might be time to add the last addition to our family if that is what is meant to be. We know that we would like to have one more child and don't want to wait until the girls are too old and there is a big gap between them so we hope it happens soon! I am still in school to become a nurse practitioner and that is a lot of work right now but hope that it will all be worth it in the end. I graduate a year from this August so the count down is already on! I just finished my first clinical rotation and learned so much! We will be traveling this May to Utah and Chicago and couldn't be more excited!
