Much needed update!

I took some pictures of the girls last month because I realized I didn't have any recent pictures!






Football in is full effect in the Carter house! The girls as well and mom and dad are sporting their Chicago Bears outfits every Sunday. Of course we are sporting our red every Saturday...we are just working on those pictures the girls have not been cooperating for pictures lately.


Emma started preschool this month. Her teachers name is Mrs. Peterson and Emma just adores her. She is loving every minute of it. She only goes on Friday's from 9-11:30. She picked out her Tinkerbell backpack all by herself. She is so proud of it!

July 4, 2009

We had a very fun 4th of July. We started off the night going over to Gram Gram and Papa Hiley's house to wish Papa a Happy Birthday. Then we went to Nana and Papa Carter's house for dinner. We shot off some parachutes and smoke balls while we were over there. Then we just went one street over to Jenda's house for the big fireworks. The girls did GREAT!! Emma was pretty scared at first and we were a little nervous but she perked up and had a good time.

Minnesota

We went to Minnesota a couple of weeks ago. We went to Mall of America so that the kids could ride the rides at Nickelodeon Universe. They loved every minute of it...Well almost everything! Emma was terrified of the characters walking around.
We ate at some great places. We also went to Underwater Adventures and Emma had so much fun looking at Sharky's and touching crabs and snails. Brian even got to drive a NASCAR simulator and I rode as a passenger...It was crazy!

Alivia's Birthday Pictures

We went and had Alivia's pictures taken on her actual birthday and had some family ones taken as well. I made a large collage for Alivia's room!










Ok...well I am really bad at this I am so behind. Alivia turned "1" on April 27th and we had a party for her. She was suffering from an ear infection but we didn't know it at the time. She was not her usual happy self at the party she wouldn't let me put her down and walk away and didn't really let too many people hold her. So it was not what I had expected. We were going to have a big backyard BB-Q and get an inflatable bouncy thing, but of course it rained all day and that plan was ruined. All in all it turned out to be a pretty fun party and it was nice to spend time with friends and family!
